Well it was good while it lasted.
They gave us an unexpected boost of confidence so they should be proud of themselves.

Yes, I hope they don’t get spoiled and softened over the next 4 years.

Gutted.

What a ride we’ve had though. Semi finals? Who’d have thought it at the start. Well played lads.

Still gutted though.

Thank you Claire, and I am proud of them. I have been the biggest cynic of our team in recent years, having bought into the Golden Generation just to end in disappointment each time, and if someone had told me at the start we'd reach the semi finals I would have been over the moon.

Not sure I can muster up the energy to watch the 3rd place play off though. Embarassed

Edit, just realised that game is over already anyway!

Very proud indeed, Gareth has crested a young team that connected so well so early.

Watched the England v Belgium  game.. not as tense as I was watching the other games.
But WELL done ENGLAND. cheers

I think Gareth has a lot to be proud of, along with our team. Some of the dirty tactics they encountered, and rose above is a credit to them.

They have been an amazing team, and deserve the pride cheers

COME on Croatia! It makes it less of a blow to be knocked out by the eventual champions, plus they haven't won it before so why not.

It's pretty much game over now.. but stranger things have happened..

Yes I like your way of thinking, I was still hurting about Croatia.. but would still like to see France win.

I didn't watch it, but would imagine it was probably a great match for anyone that did, with a lot of goals being scored.

I didn’t see all of it but the bit I did see Croatia were playing really well. Really impressed with how they’ve played throughout the tournament despite knocking England out.
France deserved the win though, they’ve outclassed most teams and are also quite a young team, like England.

Both countries must be feeling so proud and elated with how they’ve done this year. thumb
