Nothing they tried worked, while Croatia just kept getting better.

I can't call a winner yet. This is one of the most open World Cups for a long time. So far it looks like England have a good a chance as any.

England are playing Panama tomorrow..

Now I want cool and calm heads and no hysteria if England win by a large margin.

Panama are ranked 13 places below Scotland, they're hardly a great team.

Of course it might go tits up for England...Iceland anyone.

I knew this really nice man, he was in his eighties and a true gentleman.

I was in the pub one night when England were playing Germany and someone said "Michael who are you supporting" and he replied "England, they didn't fucking bomb Clydebank"

It's a year ago this month since we played the Auld Enemy and we were heading for a famous victory until Harry Kane scored the equaliser.

He was a mile offside as well....

It’s not luck, they just don’t bottle it at the World Cup like other teams do.
Although, from the bits I saw Sweden looked like the better team.
They was robbed!

They are lucky.

5 minutes of injury time, scored in the 4th minute of that. 5 minutes was too long.

It was something you knew they'd pull off, but deep down didn't want them to. For me anyway Evil or Very Mad

I was counting down the seconds, thinking c'mon, and then they scored bawl

The events in Cardiff 1985 are one that no Scot will ever forget.

We were playing Wales and both teams could still qualify for Mexico 86, Wales needed to win and Scotland only needed a draw.

Wales were the hot favourites because, most of our best players were missing and they went 1-0 up after only 13 minutes and it looked as though Scotland were going out as the final whistle neared, but with ten minutes to go Scotland got a penalty and Davie Cooper scored!!

The Scots and the Tartan Army went mad and the celebrations were in full swing at the final whistle.

However what we didn't know was Big Jock had collapsed and despite the best efforts of the doctors, he died shortly after the game.

The celebrations stopped and Scotland and it's fans made their way home in shock.

Thems the rules. Hardly luck if you have the skill to pull it off.
They don’t seem as good as a team as past German teams though so hopefully they’ll be out soon.
