About to dig into All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It's had rave reviews. Not that those always mean I love the book!

MG, look at this opening:

"It’s not like me to swear and it’s especially not like me to swear at someone whom I have just met but she didn't seem surprised at all when I told her to fuck off."

wink

Looks good?

I haven't been reading because of concentration.
Might crack open a book tonight though.

Damn I'd not looked in here for a while. That's a fantastic first line, I love it Very Happy

Behind a Closed Door, I looked it up and it is on my wishlist.

I've just finished All The Light We Cannot See and it was a beautiful book, intensely moving and hopelessly hopeful.

Am now reading the second Tony Parson's Max Woolfe book, The Slaughterman. I think the title gives it away a little affraid

It's rubbish so far. I've not been reading books as I've been so busy, but I also think it's because with my reading OCD, I need to finish it and it's not gripping me.
