This group were the first my wee brother ever saw live. My friends and I went to see them at the Apollo in Glasgow and I took him. Then he stole my album and to this day swears it's his.

We went to a massive concert in Glasgow late eighties. Me and Mr C and my two wee cousins. It had Texas, Wet Wet Wet, Friends Again, The Bluebells etc etc in George Square and culminated on Glasgow Green with these guys:

Ken the singer in this band was my husbands best pal at school and David the drummer was one of mine,

I loved that era. I'm going to post my actual best pal at school's video next.

Heady days!

I know it's the 80's but this just slipped out of the 80's and one of my favourite band.

I so love Deacon Blue. Years ago, me and Mr C took my wee cousins to a massive outdoor concert in Glasgow. It started in George square with Texas, Wet Wet Wet, the Bluebells etc (all Scottish Bands) and culminated on Glasgow Green with Deacon Blue.

It started raining and the sang this:

You can imagine the atmosphere!

Love this:
