I like to do one off craft work. I'm not the kind that can do the same things over and over.

What kind of things have you made?

I like reading, walking, swimming, going to the theatre, nights in with my pals (wine, pizza, blethering and finally music as the wine kicks in) and politics. We also go to stuff at the Golf Club and have meals out with various friends and family. My husband and sons are Celtic Supporters, so I usually get roped into Celtic stuff too and my brother runs the Tommy Burns nights in January, so do stuff to help him with that. I'm going to ladies day at the races this year with my sister in law and my pals and hers. So socialising is a bit of a hobby.

I'm a member of the Scottish National Party and my local Yes Group so if things are going on politically I go out campaigning.

I'm also Politcal Education Officer for my locaL SNP Branch.

I am surprised you have the time to fit it in! You are one busy woman.

Swimming is the only exercise I enjoy and I swim around 4 times a week. It clears the head and gives you a natural high. I used to horseride a lot too but haven't for about three years due to hurting my knee but hope to go back to it at some point. I love horses.

I try to go three nights a week after work. In my old job, I walked the 2 miles to work and back every day and went into the pool on the way home to do 32 lengths. I loved that walk - it seperated work and home if you know what I mean. Cleared my head. I can't do that now but I try to swim as often as I can. You can just let your mind wander when swimming unless some eejit trys to steal your lane Very Happy

I get that totally. I often go straight after being at the shelter as there are sad times there and it helps. I walk along the beach a fair bit but not far as I just like to sit and watch the sea. I don't swim in the sea though, far too cold.

It annoys me when people get in the way in the pool , I usually go at unpopular times though so get lucky quite often with only a couple of others in the pool. As you say it really does clear your head.

Claire, I make things like pompom rugs made two of those. rag rugs.

I did a huge garden pot for my son, just decoupage really. I did nail varnish art for everyone for Christmas. All different types of things. will have to hunt out some photos

I love swimming I used to swim for my schools and for my county. Then got married had a baby and my husband decided I needed body shaming so never swum again. My sister taught my three children to swim as I would not wear a costume anymore. Funny thing is looking back on photos I had a great body and was always complimented but it's just the bad comments that stick.

Funny thing is now I have that body I thought I had then and I don't give a shit. I have taught two of my grandchildren to swim they could swim a width and dive, do handstands etc at age 3
Now teaching the baby to swim, love it so much.

I guess gardening is a hobby of mine, although it's heavy going at times.

I also class coming on forums as a hobby. I find it quite relaxing.
